Where do the products being offered in the SAP DPP come from?

The stock for the SAP Device Purchase Program (DPP) comes from SAP in South Africa.

Which brands, models and product types are available on the DPP?

The brands, models and product types available on the DPP are dependent on the stock made available by SAP for the DPP.

How do you refurbish the stock prior to adding it to the Device Shop SAP DPP website?

The process includes:

  • System driven diagnostic testing of all internal components.
  • Hands on testing of input devices (eg: keyboard and trackpad), ports, and output devices (eg: speakers).
  • Visual inspection for physical damage.
  • Loading of Operating System (when applicable)
  • Thorough cleaning
  • Cosmetic grading

Do SAP DPP PCs and laptops come with a licensed OS (operating system)?

If a product comes with an Operating System loaded it will be listed. If no operating system is included this will also be listed.

Do the PCs and laptops come with any software loaded?

Products sold in the SAP DPP do not come with any software loaded.

Do products come with AC adaptors?

Products come with the necessary AC adaptors. The AC adaptors might be generic.

Can I upgrade the specification of my product?

Products offered within the SAP DPP program do not have the option of specifications upgrades.  

How long does it take to prepare my order?

Orders typically take 1-3 business days to prepare.

Do you have a showroom where I can come to view or choose the product myself?

The SAP DPP program is offered online only. Products are not processed or held at the premises orders are dispatched from.
